Simple Plant-Based Yogurt Recipe:

Ingredients:
  • - 70 g rice milk powder
  • - 40 g faba protein
  • - 1 scoop A4Y yogurt culture or Natural yogurt culture
  • - 1 teaspoon honey or sugar (nutrient for the bacteria)
  • - 1 liter water
  • 1. Mix the rice milk powder, fava protein, honey, and warm water.
  • 2. Blend until homogeneous using a blender, immersion blender, whisk, etc.
  • 3. Heat to 92-98 °C, stirring constantly.
  • 4. Cool down to 43 °C.
  • 5. Add the yogurt culture.
  • 6. Maintain this temperature for 6-8 hours (use a fermenter, thermos, water bath, or anything that helps maintain the temperature).
  • 7. Place in the fridge overnight.
  • If you prefer tangier yogurts, choose the A4Y yogurt culture; for sweeter, milder yogurts, choose the Natural yogurt culture.
