All of our lactic cultures come with a one-week transportation guarantee, meaning they can be stored and shipped without refrigeration for up to a week. However, during warmer months, we use ice packs to ensure the products maintain their quality.
We offer many vegan-friendly cultures in our product range, but due to vegan regulations, lactic cultures cannot be labeled as fully vegan. However, many of our products contain no animal-derived ingredients, which is why we refer to them as vegan-friendly.
To keep our lactic cultures at their best, most should be stored around +4 °C, ideally in the lower shelves of your fridge. For cultures that contain yeasts or moulds, these need to be stored at -18 °C, which means they belong in the freezer. The easiest solution? Pop everything in the freezer! This way, your cultures can last for a very long time. Just one thing to remember: our liquid products like rennets and lactase should never be frozen. Be sure to store them in the fridge only, to keep them in perfect condition!
No worries at all! You can always ripen your cheese right in your fridge. It may take a bit longer to achieve the desired result, but it works perfectly. The easiest way is to place your cheese in a well-sealed food container, which will help maintain the necessary humidity for proper ripening.
